Village of Rustburg Rt 24/US 501 Corridor Improvement Study To Hold Second Virtual Public Meeting

A second virtual public meeting will be held by the Central Virginia Transportation Planning Organization on March 24, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM regarding the Village of Rustburg Rt 24/US 501 Corridor Improvement Study. The study area is between Brookneal Highway on the west and Red House Road on the east. The study will identify needed road improvements and enhancements. Input is needed on the potential recommendations to reduce congestion, increase safety, and improve bicycle and pedestrian facilities along the corridor. 

The public meeting is available for anyone with opinions and input about travel conditions or other street enhancements that should be considered in the study area. The meeting will be held in an online format to include an initial presentation, followed by opportunity to provide commentary and ask questions of the study team. 

There is also a survey available from March 15, 2021 - April 9, 2021 for feedback about the study.
