Capital Projects

In 2024, the Brookneal-Campbell County Airport Authority secured funding to construct a 10 bay T-hangar building on the existing asphalt apron, which currently houses tie-downs only. Following construction, the airport will have the capacity to base 10 aircraft in T-Hangars and 6 aircraft in Tie-Downs.

Areas within the fence line of the airport are available for private development via a land lease. Contact Economic Development for details on potential building locations at the airport and land lease terms.

Security

The Brookneal-Campbell County Airport (0V4) has security video surveillance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This surveillance monitors the runway and protection zone, both which are enclosed by a security fence.

Virginia Aviation Ambassadors Program

The Virginia Aviation Ambassadors Program is designed to encourage pilots and aviation enthusiasts to visit all of Virginia's public use airports as well as aviation museums, safety seminars and special airport events such as fly-ins. For more information please visit the program website.

The Brookneal-Campbell County Airport Authority encourages pilots to participate in this program. The airport has a stamp on site for participants in the Virginia Aviation Ambassadors Program. Pilots may find the stamp in the airport mailbox near the pedestrian gate.
