Southern Landscape Group welcomed a crowd to their 25th anniversary celebration at their new office space on Miles Road in Evington on Thursday, June 1st. Guests mingled throughout the modern and elegant office space and spilled out onto the shaded patio and grounds. As expected in a premiere landscape company’s headquarters, the outdoor space showcases the skills of the designers on staff with a varied but cohesive mix of hardscapes, flowers and shrubs, window boxes with trailing annuals, a wooden pergola for light shade, climbing plants, groundcovers that soften the edges of stepping stones, even a burbling fountain.

The Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance (LRBA) collaborated with Southern Landscapes to organize and promote the event. Heath Barrett hands certificate. Heath Barrett of the LRBA was on hand to present a certificate to this long-time member of the Alliance and congratulated company president Mark Maslow and his staff on the landmark anniversary.

Maslow addressed the group and welcomed everyone to the event. “I remember walking in to Campbell County in 1998," he recalled. "I was a sophomore in high school. I was going to get my first business license. Now, I had no idea this is where I'd be twenty-five years later."

Before the ribbon cutting, Maslow was also presented a crystal plaque commemorating the twenty-five years in business. Mark Maslow receives crystal commemorative plaque.

Attributing their success to all the people who work for the company for pouring "all their passion into what they do just making our clients lives better,” Maslow expressed his gratitude to his team and how fortunate he felt being able to share the twenty-five year mark with them all, adding "There's many, many more great years to come.”
