SBDC to hold Special Introduction for Financial Resources Partners

On April 28th at 11:30am, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be holding a zoom session oriented specifically for financial resource partners that provides an introduction to their services. In the session, participants will learn about the SBDC’s services and how the SBDC can be a partner to lenders’ small business customers.

Making decisions about providing loans to new businesses, or small businesses looking to expand, can be challenging. Local business lenders may have relationships with entrepreneurs who may lack the diverse skills or expertise needed to successfully navigate the complexities of starting or running their small business. The SBDC is ready to show local financial partners how the it can help guide these businesses on the road to success, providing tools and education to increase the likelihood of a positive return on your investment.

The SBDC is a free resource that offers one-on-one advising and training on topics like:

  • Creating a business plan
  • Preparing for Capital Investment
  • Connecting with Other Government Resources for Small Business
  • Understanding Marketing and Branding
  • Connecting to Virginia SBDC programs like export assistance, Craft Beverage Expertise & Cybersecurity.
