Thomas Tascone is a Board Certified Counselor for the American Association of Christian Counselors. He has been a pastor for over 20 years and he is the program director for 7 Hills Counseling Services (7hillscounseling.com). He is a veteran of the United States Army and understands the needs of veterans and their families.

As a Counselor, Pastor Tom has had the opportunity to develop successful Christian and Biblical approaches to crisis intervention and counseling strategies that increase the likelihood of client success. These approaches include solution-based strategies that: (1) acknowledge that symptoms are valuable tools that help direct the counselor to the root of the problem(s), (2) a belief that change is possible for everyone, and (3) positive approaches are essential to encourage the client to see possibilities rather than obstacles in the counseling process. While real change does take time, the Christian pathway to counseling acknowledges that not only is change possible, but the Bible states very plainly that life-changing transformational change is the result of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Pastor Tom’s theoretical approaches to the counseling process include cognitive / behavioral psychology with an emphasis on personality and social theory.

Pastor Tom has been providing counseling and mediation services to individuals, groups and families for over 24 years.
