September 22, 2021

- Nina Rezai – Economic Development Manager
- Charlie Watts – Board of Supervisor - Representative
All Brookneal Campbell County Airport Authority meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Citizens Service Building at 6:30 p.m.
Tony Cihak called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by John Barksdale to approve the minutes of August 25, 2021, seconded by C. P. Elliott and passed unanimously.
Financial:
A motion was made by C. P. Elliott to approve payment of the bills: Century Link (September-Telephone -$82.58), Southside Electric (September-Electricity -$173.43-estimated bill hasn’t arrived yet), and Weed Control ($3,780.00), seconded by John Barksdale and passed unanimously.
Check book balance after current invoices paid is $87,160.44.
A motion was made by Carter Elliott to approve the PPEA Policy for BCCAA in the memorandum of understanding between CCBOS and BCCAA, seconded by John Barksdale, and passed unanimously.
Updates:
Categorical Exclusion Report – working on it- will report later – no action.
Manager’s Update:
- Couple of calls to Mary Westling that AWOS was out.
Fuel System Supplier:
- Andrew Waller of Freedom Aviation is interested in managing fuel system. He will prepare an unsolicited proposal. Pay 7 cent a gal.
Chairman adjourned meeting at 7:15 p.m. Next Meeting is October 20, 2021.
