February 24, 2021
Members in Attendance:
- Tony Cihak, Chairman
- Richard Adams, Vice-Chairman (Arrived at 7:09 pm)
- Carter Elliott, Treasurer
- John Barksdale
- C. P. Elliott
- Mary Westling (left at 7:43 pm)

All Brookneal Campbell County Airport Authority meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Citizens Service Building at 7:00 p.m.
Tony Cihak called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by John Barksdale to approve the minutes of January 27, 2020, seconded by C.P. Elliott and passed unanimously.
Financial:
A motion was made by John Barksdale to approve payment of the bills: BB&T Credit Card – (Sam’s Club purchase- $16.38), Century Link (Telephone -$75.45), Southside Electric (Electricity February-$210.75), seconded by C.P. Elliott and passed unanimously.
Check book balance after current invoices paid is $69,229.99.
Updates:
- LU is now certified to have students work at the airport.
- (Zoom Presentation) Cliff Burnette-Deputy of VDOA to see if the state can fund an engineer.
Manager’s Update:
- Mary Westling has someone to present ACIP.
Fuel System Update:
- Jason Davis will come up with a solution to keep selling fuel.
- Tony Cihak has 5 companies to provide fuel prices.
Chairman adjourned meeting at 8:37 p.m. Next Meeting is March 24, 2021.
