Virginia Ranked as America's Top State for Business in 2021 by CNBC

Virginia has been ranked America's Top State for Business in 2021, according to CNBC. All 50 states were scored by CNBC based on 85 metrics in 10 broad categories that include the cost of doing business, infrastructure, life, health and inclusion, workforce, economy, business friendliness and access to capital.
This is the fifth time that Virginia has held the honor since CNBC started the study in 2007 and the first state to score back-to-back wins. Despite the effects of the pandemic, Virginia's commitment to workforce and a strong education system gave the competitive edge over other states in the ranking.
