Apply Now! Start Smart Campbell Grant Cycle Deadline Coming Soon
The deadline for the next cycle of the Start Small Grant Program is July 1, 2022. Entrepreneurs should take advantage of this locally-funded grant opportunity to help establish and stabilize new Campbell County businesses. Add your name to the growing list of local businesses who have received the $5000 Start Small Campbell Grant: Bust A Move Dance Academy in Rustburg, Prestige Kennel and Pet Services in Evington, and The Bagel and I in Timberlake!
The Start Small Campbell Grant Program is geared toward any new business employing 200 people or less and starting business for the first time, or for your first location in Campbell County. Submit an application soon to be eligible to receive a $5,000 grant to aid in start-up and early days costs. As part of the application process, you must submit a business plan and have completed two of the Start Smart programs offered by the Small Business Development Center. Applications will be reviewed quarterly to award four grants each year.
Two online Start Smart training classes are scheduled in June, so there is still time to complete the requirements before the July 1 deadline.
Previous applicants who did not receive the grant award in earlier cycles are welcome to submit a new application to be considered for this cycle. The Start Small Campbell Application is available on campbellvirginia.com.
