Altavista Trade Lot

The Altavista farmer's market, or Altavista Trade Lot as it's more known, has been in existence since 1920s. The name comes from it's original purpose as a place and time for farmers to sell or trade livestock. Nowadays, craftspeople and vendors sell their products along with farm goods, such as small farm animals like rabbits and chickens, baked goods, canned fruits, and jellies. The Trade Lot is open the 1st Saturday of each month. Spaces are $5.00 each to rent.

Support the Altavista Band Boosters by purchasing a space or enjoy concessions and drinks in the spring and summer months. Don't forget to come by for some Brunswick stew in the late fall and winter months too! The Altavista Trade Lot is the main source of funding for the ACS Band Program.
