Agribusinesses can enter business information, list products and services, upload photos, and include affiliations with partnering programs.

Virginia's Finest LogoOnly Virginia products that meet or exceed quality standards are a part of the Virginia's Finest Program.

All Virginia's Finest products must be approved by the Virginia's Finest Review Committee. The Committee reviews product packaging and labels to ensure products meet state and federal regulations. The Committee verifies that products meet or exceed the standards established by the industry. Specific industries recommend, create and update the quality standards.

Buyers and consumers have grown to recognize the blue and red “VA check mark” logo and know they are purchasing top quality Virginia-produced and processed products, including:

  • Meats
  • Cheeses
  • Soups
  • Seafood
  • Peanuts
  • Beverages
  • Pasta
  • Baked Goods
  • Snacks
  • Chocolates/Confections
  • Condiments/Dressings
  • Sauces

Buy Fresh Buy Local Virginia supports local farms, retailers, restaurants and food businesses by promoting local farm and food products to consumers.  Our program includes local food producers of all philosophies who are interested in connecting with local markets. Campbell County farmers can contact the Heart of Virginia Chapter which covers neighboring counties in the Virginia Southside Region.

Members may be Local Food Producers (Farm Operators, Specialty Food/Value-Added Producers, and Specialty Beverage Producers) or Local Food Purveyors (Farmers Markets, Grocers/Retailers, Restaurants/Caterers, Aggregators/Distributors)
