The Campbell County Board of Supervisors is aware that there are pockets of Campbell County that are not presently covered by high-speed Internet service. Solid Waste Disposal 
Solid waste disposal is handled by First Piedmont Corporation as well as the Region 2000 Services Authority. These organizations are responsible for trash pickup in Altavista, Brookneal, and heavily developed areas near the City of Lynchburg.
