Small and Minority-Owned Business Incentives
In an effort to encourage entrepreneuralism, Campbell County also offers a Small & Minority-Owned Business Incentive Program to qualifying businesses. Campbell County classifies companies with 25 or fewer employees as "small business." Campbell County recognizes the federal "minority and disadvantaged" guidelines and the groups identified by the Virginia Administrative Code as minority-owned business classifications.
Campbell County provides up to a 15% reduction in the Machinery & Tools tax for Certified Pollution Control Equipment.
The Campbell County Industrial Development Authority offers low-interest, tax exempt revenue bonds to qualified businesses.
