The homesite of Revolutionary War Colonel Charles Lynch, is on the National List of Historic Places and is a Virginia Historic Landmark. Open for tours Thursday through Sunday from mid-April through the last Friday in October, and for rentals year round. The site includes an 1880 log cabin, gardens and arboretum, and a brick kitchen dating to the late 1700s.

When Campbell County was founded in 1784, Jeremiah Rust donated 50 acres of land and established Rustburg as the county seat. In 1848 the Historic Courthouse was built. Today this Historic Courthouse is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Historic Landmark Register.

Hat Creek Golf Course is one of the most challenging 9 hole golf courses available in Virginia. The course is VSGA rated, par of 72, playing a total of 6,100 yards for 18 holes. A driving range and practice green is available as well as a fully stocked clubhouse with a snack bar.

Red Hill is home to the world’s largest collection of Patrick Henry artifacts. Open to visitors 362 days a year, this 500 acre site also includes, Henry’s grace, original law office, reconstructed home and outbuildings. Several major events are held annually, including an Independence Day celebration, Christmas Open House, a Naturalization Ceremony, Governor Henry Lectures, and living history events. The facility is family-oriented.
